Katy Buchmueller is a color/materials designer from the Netherlands, with roots in the Midwest, and has been in Portland, OR for the past 8 years. She started her journey at the Art Institute of San Francisco, where she developed her skills and passion for fashion design. Today, Katy works as a designer at Adidas, where she continues to push creative boundaries and shape new ideas in the industry.

Her design philosophy is centered around the connection between materials, textures, and the color spectrum. Katy believes these elements have the power to influence how we experience and interact with the world.
